3JCNS and GCR Sign Strategic MoU to Advance Digital Transformation in Renewable Energy

On July 14, 2026, 3JCNS Co., Ltd. and Gochang Renewable Co., Ltd. (GCR) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on digital transformation initiatives and operational excellence in the renewable energy sector.
 

3JCNS specializes in digital transformation solutions for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), as well as operations and maintenance (O&M). GCR specializes in the development of offshore wind and other renewable energy projects.
 

The agreement establishes a collaborative framework that combines the technologies and expertise of both companies to support digital transformation and enhance O&M capabilities across renewable energy sectors, including offshore wind, onshore wind and solar power.
 

Under the agreement, the companies will collaborate throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning and EPC to operations. Their cooperation will focus on developing digital infrastructure, enhancing operational platforms, identifying applicable digital technologies and improving asset performance through data-driven solutions.
 

By combining 3JCNS’s plant digital transformation capabilities with GCR’s renewable energy development expertise, the companies aim to improve operational efficiency, asset reliability and long-term competitiveness across renewable energy projects.
 

 

Through the partnership, 3JCNS will provide digital solutions and professional consulting services based on technologies from AVEVA, a global industrial software company.
 

As an AVEVA Specialized Solution Provider (SSP), 3JCNS supports customers throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage planning and EPC to O&M. Its services include digital twin implementation, industrial data integration, operational optimization, engineering consulting and technical support.
 

The companies plan to explore the application of the following digital solutions:

• AI-powered SCADA system: Supports real-time monitoring, control and integrated supervision of renewable energy assets.
• PI System: Collects, processes and integrates operational data generated by power generation equipment and transmission infrastructure.
• Predictive Analytics: Uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect potential equipment anomalies and support condition-based maintenance.
• Unified Operations Center: Visualizes geographic information, power output, equipment availability, transmission network data and other operational information within an integrated 3D digital twin environment.

The collaboration is expected to support more stable and efficient operations, strengthen data-driven decision-making and improve the long-term operational competitiveness of renewable energy assets.
